Our homes have forms and shapes that fit into the neighborhoods they
are built in, without being replicas of the past. Our homes have functional
and livable floor plans. Our homes are thoughtfully finished. Our homes
get maximum use out of their floor space. Our homes are energy efficient.
Prodigy builds homes that you can live in, and homes you can be proud

We have been building new homes in older neighborhoods in Victoria,
BC since 1997. Each home site is carefully chosen. Each home is unique,
with a plan that was designed specifically for the property it is built
on. All of the details, colors and finishing are unique to each home.
All of our homes are guaranteed by Travelers
Guarantee Company of Canada. Home warranty insurance on new homes
includes a minimum of 2 years on labour and materials, 5 years on the
building envelope, including water penetration, and 10 years on structure.
The 2-year labour and materials coverage is broken down as follows:
12 months on any defect in materials and labour, and 24 months for defects
in materials and labour related to the delivery and distribution systems
(electrical, plumbing, heating ventilation, air conditioning, etc.)
Prodigy is wholly owned and operated by Rob Mickelberry. Before starting
Prodigy, he was involved in the management of several commercial, institutional,
and residential projects. He has a Business Degree from Simon Fraser
University, a Building Technology diploma from BCIT, and has a Project
Management Professional designation.
Rob has a unique philosophy about what he believes needs to go into
every home that Prodigy builds. This philosophy becomes reality when
his carefully chosen team of the best designers and craftsmen are assembled
to build each new home.
Prodigy is a member of the Canadian Homebuilders’ Association,
and also of Built Green British Columbia. Built Green™ adds value
to new home construction by promoting and recognizing the use of practices
and products that represents resource-efficient and environmentally
friendly construction. These practices include providing greater energy
efficiency, healthier indoor air, reducing pollution, reducing water
usage, preserving natural resources, and improving durability while
reducing maintenance.
Prodigy’s homes have won five CARE Awards from the Victoria chapter
of the Canadian Homebuilders
Association. Our homes have been profiled nationally in Style at
Home magazine and in major newspapers across Canada.
